Unpacking & Installation Guide

Structure

Remove the left side panel, right side panel with lights control box and accessories.

Fix one spacer using the 4 screws on the left side panel.

Once the spacers are fixed to the left side panel, add the right side panel (with lights control box) using the remaining screws.

Wheels

Choose wether to use rubber feet or wheels.

Insert rubber feet simply by screwing them by hand under the structure in the designated areas . Apply wheels by the use of a wrench, keeping the brake on front side.

Central Belt

Remove the two hemisphere.

Remove the central belt, 5 turn tables and the external spot light with mirror panels.

Place the central belt in the appropriate joints.

Make sure to match the holes with the pins in both side panels. Fix the shaft only in the right side panel using an Allen key n°4.

Run the cable from the right side panel through the central belt and place it inside the hole, in the support with motor.

Under, connect the cable to the motor.

Hemisphere

Plug the upper hemisphere on the central belt and lower the two black hinges. Remove the 4 screws, already pre-inserted, raise the two black hinges and fix again the 4 screws using an Allen key n° 4. Repeat for the l ower hemisphere.

Connect the two ends of the white cable behind the upper hemisphere.

Turntables

To insert the turntable, fit each roll bearing into his groove.

ALO Photo Sphere has 5 different turntables:

Matte and Glossy White
Matte and Glossy Black
Transparent
Smiley
Glossy White (both sides)

Each turntable has a small dot in the center to ease up the object center placement. We would like to suggest to use the transparent turn-table as default, in order to get pictures directly in white background and place the other turn tables over it the to create different effects such as reflection or shadow.

Camera Holder and Cables Connection

Take off the screws from their container. Place the support in the lower end of the black rotating holder and fix the 2 screws using Allen key number of 4. Make sure all the screws are strongly tightened.

Add our macro lens on top of 18-135 zoom lens, the one we recommend. Screw the camera in the holder using a flat head screwdriver. Set the adapter to the lowest end of the slider (the end closer to the sphere). Make sure the holder distance is set to 125mm (the right distance).

Connect the camera USB cable (not included in our accessory box), plug one end to the side camera body and the other end in ALO Photo Sphere USB port on the right. Plug the power chord right on the back of the control box.

External Light Kit
